Cherieness: English Fiesta 2014

Hello Guys..

I really thanked that actually I could write this post after blahh.. blahh.. blahhh.. *reasons*

Well, now I want to write the most exciting thing of mine ever!
English Fiesta!!!!
This is actually the annual national debate competition that held by a student unit activity in my campus, ILF (International Language Forum), in the purpose to celebrate the birthday of ILF and collecting all of the debaters to show their ability in debate by joining a competition.
And this is the 12th English Fiesta and we held it in three day, 16-18th of May 2014.

Why I said this is so exciting for me????

Because, this is the first time I held a National Event!!! One of the most precious experience.
I was became a general secretary in this event. All of the ILF committee had became the committee. We made a hardwork and hard effort so this event could run well.

We made the committee of English Fiesta since last year, approximately in December (I forget ✌! Hehehe)..

So many happiness and sorrow to hold this event. With the sum of the committee which is not too much with only 10-20 actives member from approximately 60 which devided into but we could this!

I remember how if we held a meeting, only several people came. You could count it with your fingers. So many dramas also happened between us, especially when the D-Day was getting closer. It was like everyone had a high tension of their emotion, including me. Lol.

Thanks for Elliska, Mbak Rani, Hayu, Ozy, Ade, Chacha, Heavy, Fatimah. Thanks so much for your hardwork. Also for ILF newbies for help your senior too by becoming the member of this, like Hedi thanks for your help to gathered your frind from your class to bacame Liaison Officer in EF. My partner Lia, for helped me and gave me support. Thanks so much for every corporation.

Thanks also for Mas Hanif as our Chief of Adjudicator and Kak Indri and Kak Roderick as our Deputy Chief of Adjudicator. Thanks a lot for your hardwork to gave your time and prepared the motions in this event. For the invited adjudicators like Mas Bangun, Mbak Tasya for your time to joined this event as adjudicators.
For all the participants, thanks to joined English Fiesta 2014. We are wait for your attendance in English Fiesta 2015 ;)

About my job as a secretary, I was made lots of letters which needed. And also made a report to Student Department in my campus, you can called it Responsibility Report in English and Laporan Pertanggung Jawaban (LPJ) in Bahasa. Don't say that this is a simple job to do, because it's so much complicated when you tried to do it, especially when your responsibilty as a student in campus was there but in other hand, all the committee needed you to make letters with close deadlines and many more.

And me and my partner Lia (Secretary 2 of EF) were had another job from the other committee. Because our less of peoples, so we had another job to became secretariat which worked in EF. Well.. haha..

And talk about EF..
Well we had 21 groups in every institution in Indonesia which registered to join this event. For the more information about EF, just open the blog http://englishfiesta-ilfumm.weebly.com . You could see the team and institution which joined EF.

And about the event in D-Day..
Wow, so many problems we had. Before and in the D-Day. Before event, like lots of companies which reject our sponsorship proposal and thr D-Day, example you might made a rundown for this event, but it didn't run like what you had planned. But in fact, we finished the event every single day on time, LOL. Less of committee and many more.

And Btw, in this event, I want to congrats for the winners..
Congratulation for UGM Team (Aufia, Noel, Denis) as a champion of 12th English Fiesta.
Formasi UB (Rizky, Nadya, Haris) as the runner up.
And Rizky from Formasi UB as Best Speaker.

But from this event, I got so many experience. Learned so many things. How's the meaning of family, friendship, hardwork, responsibilty, accepting critics from other people, time management, trust, togetherness, effort. How if you want to had something good you must put your effort, hardwork in it. Your responsibikty to make it good. And how you need other people to make something great. You can't reach something which not pushed you down, good or bad they're, they just gave you so many things to learn. Try to accept many characters of people, try to understand other people. Thanks so much for ILF family for gave me so many good life lessons in my life from this event.
