The Highlight Moments on December 2017

Heihoo Guys.
Finally, I'm back to write this since I postponed to write this part of story. So many reasons, yet the biggest reason is because I am currently enjoy my time in Manado especially the fast Wi-Fi connection in home, so I could watch marathon for Game of Thrones series. Holiday is so good! How is yours?

In this part, I desired to write the highlight moment in my 2017 journeys. It was such a roller coaster life I lived. So much with unpredictable situations I faced. Yet, I don't want to wonder too much but just let it go. If I would explain or wrap the whole stories, maybe I can't bear, too much. Rather, I focus to tell my experience on the last month when my friend, Amanda, decided to visit Malang and maybe some traveling advices for you who wants to enjoy Malang City.

This story is started on 28th of December 2017.
Amanda came to Malang that day. Of course, as our (Ananta, Ida and I) guest, we were so excited when she said she wanted to spend her holiday in Malang. I wanted to keep my memories in that day. Well, I think I ever talked about my friend, Amanda here. Basically, that was the second time she made her visit in Malang, Alhamdulillah, her trip was good, not as the previous one (re: here), hehe.. She spent her time for 3 days, 2 nights with us before she separately had her own holiday with her friends in Jakarta. We had our girls night at Ida's place.

On her first day in Malang, we went to a Cafe to chill out while we also wanted to give a birthday surprise to Ananta even though it was kinda failed I guess. Hahaha.. But still, hope you like it Ananta. Unfortunately, Ida could not stay with us for a long time cause, she still had a class. A little bit information, in Malang, there are many Cafes which "kekinian" with affordable prices such as nearby Malang State University such as Komika Cafe, Warung Pasta, and many others or also alongside Soekarno Hatta Street like Mie Setan (Evil Noodle), Bara-Bara, Aventree, the list goes on.... They are also completed with cool background and foods which standard for students who wants to updating their instagram feeds! haha. As the only one who already make money, Amanda said that the payment was on her! lol. (Ceritanya ditraktir. Cihuuuyyy!!! Wkwkwk.).

We depleted our hours in Komika Cafe. I must say, I like that cafe because it's comfortable, the design are full with mesmerizing touch. And also it has clean toilet and musholla for praying. The price for foods are not as expensive as I thought it would be and the meal presentation are splendid and luxurious. The taste is standard though.

Holaaaa from us. Loc. Komika Cafe.

Ida wasn't join us for long cuz she was in a rush for her class.

Komika Cafe still have another different spot. This spot is looking
so comfy, that's why we choose to be here. They also have garden theme part inside.

Long story short, After that, we went to Ida's house, did sleep over / girls night! As usual, she was lighted up our days with her high sense of humor. I could not remember when was the last time I laughed 'til I cried at the same time. We laughed for the most non-sense joke she told (in Bahasa, candaan "receh"), but still! Maybe her way and style which are so funny! XD
Ida, as usual became our "Mama" who loyally took care of us like prepared her girls foods and others. Thank you Mamaskyyyy Dacessss..

29 December 2017.
We woke up at 3 AM. Our agenda was "Paralayang Day". We wanted to chase the sunrise. However, because we are "girls", so many things undone on time, we started our destination around 4 AM. So you could guess, that our first agenda did not run well. haha.. In addition............... It was cloudy and windy AF, so Amanda could not experience the paragliding.. We wished to try hammock nevertheless there were no guard. FYI, we used online taxi to get there, cause we have no vehicles!. Well, the exact reason was because none of us are know how to drive! Hehehe. And taxi from Dewandaru street to Paralayang was around Rp80.000,00. So, if you are a traveler who picks Paralayang as your Destination, make sure you already have your own vehicles. In case using online taxi, it would be better if you have friends so you could divide the payment too. #grinning

Well, our plans did not turned like what we expected. Amanda who really wants to try paragliding could not realized it because it was windy so it was risky to do it in those situation. Then in Omah Kayu, we wanted to try Hammock, but there was no keeper on Hammock. Not just it, cause when we ordered online taxi, there was no driver who wanted to pick us up T_T . So, the shortcut, we used taxi bike (re: ojek) there. And the driver asked for a high price. Each Rp15.000 just from Paralayang to the main road near by Darussalam Mosque if I am not mistaken. Then, from there, we could order online taxi. However, instead of order it, when a bus passed by, we took it! Well, we thought, we already tried online taxi, taxi bike, why didn't just try all public transportation. So, there we were! FYI, the bus would stop in Landungsari bus station with only Rp8,000,00. Then, we should used public transportation (Bahasa: Angkot) for Rp4.000.
Paralayang with the girls. Ida, Ananta, Amanda and I.

It looks like Ananta was tired xD
From above.

Even if our agenda was like a sh*t that day yet I love it turned that way.

Actually, you may order online taxi from the main road, the price are almost similar like using those bus and public transportation. A little bit higher for about Rp5.000 if I'm not mistaken. Yet, we thought, we already utilize "ojek", why not we tried the other transportation? So, there we go..... Moreover, it creates unforgettable and a precise-one moments we invest for our next meet up, when we see each other again. haha.
Cause our destination is for craving foods and we already had it on the list (I forget the name of the cafe and the place for sure, yet I knew the location is not far from Ijen street. When I remember, I'll update this, hehehe). So, when we arrived with angkot, we were totally famish and it was already 10. The sun shine brightly that day, and so in the end, we walked to find any place/resto/tavern that already open. We found Bangi Kopitiam, and eat, fulfilling our needs with many calories. Finally!

In the bus. It was full, so no chairs for us left. Blur picture
as the result of selfie while bus was running.
Angkot passangers with their dull faces :')
Finally foods!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Loc. Bangi Kopitiam

Expression of relief for that voyage! Loc: Bangi Kopitiam.
At night, we tried the foods in Labore Cafe. I might tell, the foods are okay, but I love the most the lightning in this place. The price itself, maybe a little bit expensive same as Bangi Kopitiam. But the foods they served are worth the price. I must say, the servants there are spry.

Dinner time. Where's Amanda? haha
When she's already back.. That expression though... xD

Winded up our downs and ups journey. Loc: Labore Cafe.

Back to Ida's place at night..
After cleaned up from our previous journey, dolled up, dinner, we were back to our headquarter (a.k.a Ida's place) It was the last time Amanda wiled her moments with us in Malang as she would utilized it with her friends and went to Bromo Mountain and several places they planned. We finished the night with playing and watching. Amanda, Ananta and I were watching 2 movies for the rest like Coco (Cartoon movie) and Bad Genius (Thailand Movie). I highly recommend those movies to you! We ended up our movie session at 3AM! haha.. #wellspent Thanks also for Amanda as the Movies Goddess (FYI, watching movies is one of her hobbies, so she knows what are must-to-be-viewed movies). Nowadays, there are many movies that you can accessed freely which in this case, it's illegal (don't follow this disgraceful action). Or legally, you may access HOOQ.

A little bit information, if you want an agent for traveling in Bromo, you can email me, I have a friend who runs a tour and travel business to Bromo. The price depends on the passenger. The few, the more expensive you'd pay and reverse. So, for maximum 6 person, you only need to spent Rp300k/person, the least the people, the price would levitate. Anyway, with that cost, You already pay a visit to 8 spots in Bromo Mountain plus breakfast.. Cheaper than other place I think, or based on Amanda's experience on seeking the tour and travel.. haha #promotion.
Besides Bromo Mountain, you'd love to visit Museum Angkut. According to Amanda's info, the ticket's price is Rp100k. If you bring pro camera like SLR, you'll get a charge. Or maybe if you want to go to a waterfall, you may go to Coban Rondo. Again, you have to lease a car with a driver. As I know, it cost approximately Rp250k per day.

31 Desember 2017.
New Year's Eve! Since Amanda's friends were coming with their dates, so the consequence as the one and only person who was alone while her friends spent the night dating, she chose to spent the new year with us! FYI, Ida was not joining us because she were back to Manado that day. Single girls just wanna have some fun though! (no man no problem #independentgirls) lol. We picked Madam Wang and Secret Garden Cafe. That cafe is actually have some good western foods that I love like pasta and lasagna despite the best lasagna I've ever taste  is on Dreams Cafe! The decoration in that place somehow cute with a concept of tailor or wardrobe studio. Such a cozy place too. Yet, we were unable to spent all night long cuz it was closed at 10. Rather, we went to Malang Square, found a McD and saw fireworks then back. lol. Just as simple as that! The end...

The messy chairs as the sign that they tidied up the cafe.
Closing time. Loc. Madame Wang Secret Garden

Still managing time to take a selfie. LOL. Loc. MWSG

One of the spot that I like. Every corner may discover you different theme.

Amanda, Ananta and I. Sparkling new year's eve! :*

Last but not least to end up 2017. Loc: McD.
